These were a pretty big flop in America Overall. I Around 300,000 sold in America from 2012-2019 when they were sold here. Toyota sells 400,000 Corollas a year here. Not sure how many of the 300,000 were Abarths. Since they were such a failure in America I want to keep mine stock. I've had it for 6 years and in another 10 I think it will really start standing out. America also appreciate vehicles when they are long gone and they are worth more stock. So maybe one day this car might be worth something. It's fun to drive even with 160 horsepower so I'm sure it's insane with 300+!

I took it out of my moms Corolla when I put a K&N in her car and it was fine. It looks like it's there to quiet the car. . Try not to destroy it and do a test run without it.

@@JohnDrivesAnything had to sell the geo. Was having financial hard times last year and sold the Geo. I saw it for sale again but they were asking way too much for it.

I actually like the H3 more because you can get one with a manual! Too bad you can't get the V8 H3 with the manual but awesome it had the 5.3 in a small vehicle! Way before Wranglers got a V8. Sometimes GM doesn't get the credit they deserve. The H2 is Americana. Even the British dudes on 5th and Top Gear loved it. They knew exactly what it was. It's a over the top chromed out big tire big boy toy. The H2 is an interesting one. You aren't going to see any go for under $10,000 even though they are 15+ years old and you can find a bunch with under 50,000 miles. So it's a good thing they were mall crawlers. People later in life will take these off road! Dealers always have one too. I made this video today because I just wanted to look at the Defender 90 today. I got all nostalgic towards the H2 and I knew it wouldn't take me long to find a used car dealer near me selling one. I had places in mind and second place I checked had one. The fact that they are holding their value tells me they are slowly being appreciated now. They go for way more the same Era Escalade. Cool thing about the H2 and H3, all of them are 4wd! Aren't the new Suburbans Uni-Body IFS and $80 grand?

@@JohnDrivesAnything oh the new suburbans are worse than IFS...they are IRS! It actually works pretty well but still, 4 wheel independent suspension is not my idea of a good time. It's not H1 portal axle independent suspension or old Isuzu massive diffs! The air ride ones can get 11 inches of ground clearance but it's a time bomb. The only version I really like is the police pursuit Tahoe, no air suspension, huge brembo brakes, tons of additional cooling and increased payload/suspension quality all around The h3 is so underrated, they sell for CHEAP compared to a FJ or Wrangler and in many ways are more capable. They tow well, have tons of clearance and I agree, the 5 speed is badass. They also had front lockers and nearly all have a rear locker! The H2 is basically splitting the difference between a tahoe and suburban with the wheelbase pushed out to the corners of the body. They are great besides the weak 4l65e trans, it also has bad gearing. If GM put the same 4l80e in my suburban in the H2, it may have survived. Probably not though, nobody was buying Hummers in 08! Most H2s lived a life like an Escalade, it was loved by the original owner then pimped out and trashed shortly thereafter. If I find the right deal on the truck version, I'm buying it. Always loved the midgate just like an avalanche or modern k5 blazer!

The slant back bed cover is a must for the H2T and H3T! I gotta read up on the Tahoe interceptor!

This video is a few years old now. Always put 91 in my car and so far it's been reliable. Had it since 2018, bought it with 35,000 miles I'm at 65,000 now.

Nice!I know a couple of people that have XJs. Life always gets in the way! I'm crossing my fingers this thing passes smog test. I havent driven it in 5 months because I lost my job not gotta catch up on life.

Followed you on IG you have a nice rig! Do you see any Econolines? I have a coupe of IG friends in Japan rolling in Econolines. It's funny too see because in America we want what they have. Autozam AZ1 is getting really popular here and of course every import car fan wants a old GTR so seeing Econolines in Japan doing meets is really cool.

100% I can see where the machine missed spots. Once I get it smog tested, registered and get new times for it I will clean it nice by hand and use tire shine on the new tires.

I see that Dodge Raider every time I go work. Once I get the Tracker smogged and I'm daily driving it I will get a video next to that Raider and the owner will see me and say this is a sick man or he will tell me the story about his Raider. I think he will appreciate it because he's a sick man to be driving a surviving Dodge Raider! We are definitely pretending to be starting a Tracker Resurgence! But it is fun!

It's a Mitsubishi Montero. Car manufacturers did that a lot in the 80s and 90s. My Geo Tracker is a Suzuki Sidekick. In 2024 the New Toyota Supra is just a BMW with Toyota badges lol.
